The Hebrew Alphabet 2/2 – The Vocalizations ๐ŸŽฌ

Let’s learn the entire Hebrew alphabet! We finish with the 5 vowels, their different shapes and durations. Soon we will be able to read, write and pronounce any Hebrew word!

The Hebrew alphabet is written from right to left. It is composed of 22 letters, of which two (ื• vav and ื™ yod) are semi-consonants. Five consonants have a shape that changes if they are final in a word. The pronunciation of some consonants changes depending on the presence of a vowel.

We conclude with the vocalizations that the 22 letters already learned can assume.
